This 10' tall hand built stoneware clay sculpture has a dramatic shift of axis, the base is a tapering rectangular form then there is a grouping of transitional masses that lead into tall, wide tapering blade shape that is at right angles to the orientation of the bottom half. This leads to a very dramatic and well structured gesture of masses. The colors are perfectly unified but give the surface a lot of richness and beauty.
