"Horizon Figure" arises out of the Australian landcape. I am interested in forms which reflect this landscape,forms which are different to those which come out of the European and American landscapes. Australia is a new "playground" for sculpture, new imagery should evolve from conttact with it. At the same time universal themes are expressed in my work, but generally speaking they have a feel,a flavour of the place where I live.
